LA County Voting Update

A Message From Rep. Alan Lowenthal

LA and Orange counties will begin mailing all registered voters a Vote-by-Mail ballot starting this Monday, October 5. I want to encourage every voter to utilize this option as it is the safest, fastest, and easiest way to vote in this election. Once you have filled out your ballot, all you need to do is put your ballot in the mail as soon as possible or drop it into one of the 398 Drop Boxes across LA County if registered in LA County or one of the more than 120 Drop Boxes across Orange County if registered to vote in OC.

If you choose to vote in-person, you can do so at an LA County Vote Center for LA County registered voters, or an OC Vote Center if you are registered in OC. Any voter can cast their ballot at any Vote Center in the county in which they are registered to vote.

Select LA County Centers will open starting Saturday, October 24th, with all LA County Centers open by Friday the 30th. OC Vote Centers will all open starting Saturday, October 30. All Voter Centers in both counties will follow State and County public health and safety guidelines.

You can also take your completed Vote-by-Mail Ballot and “skip the line” to drop it off in-person at any Vote Center in either county.

If you have any questions about this information, please visit the LA County Registrar-Recorder’s website at LAVote.net. or contact their office at voterinfo@rrcc.lacounty.govFor OC registered voters, visit the OC Registrar of Voters website at ocvote.com or contact their office at rovwebmaster@rov.ocgov.com.
