
Long Beach Branch NAACP was the recipient of the American Bar Association Law Day Outstanding Activity Award, for Best Interpretation of the Theme. The theme was the Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom. The purpose of the Long Beach Branch NAACP Law Day is to introduce students of color to the opportunities possible in a law career. Law Day includes students from the LB NAACP, Long Beach middle schools, high schools, and colleges who are participating in on-campus law programs. Students are also referred from collaborating partners. This project is in conjunction with Keesal, Young & Logan law firm.
